This 10-day travel package covers the natural highlights of Santorini & Cappadocia with the historical heritage of Istanbul & Athens. Enjoy spectacular sunset views from the caldera, experience sunrise while floating over the valleys during a hot air balloon ride, treat your taste buds to the delight of Turkish cuisine, this short package covers the best of the best.
• This is a flexible Turkey & Greece travel package for individuals. Select your own travel dates & we then tailor the travel package accordingly, along with any changes you might wish to make to the itinerary.
• Package Rate starts from 1900 Euro per person when based on 2 persons using standard 3* hotels. Excludes international flight to starting point Athens & from ending point Istanbul.
Tour itinerary
DAY 01 - Athens Arrival transfer:
Arrival to Athens Airport and meet for transfer on to the hotel. Rest of the day / evening is then at leisure (as per your flight arrival time). Overnight in Athens.

DAY 02 - Athens City Tour:
Breakfast at the hotel then join on one of the following regular group excursions (you choose):
a) 5hr Coach tour: visit Acropolis, New Acropolis Museum & panoramic drive in the city center
b) 5hr Walking tour: visit Acropolis, Ancient Agora & stroll through the city center
c) 5hr Walking tour: visit Acropolis, New Acropolis Museum & stroll through the city center
Afternoon and evening free at leisure for you to further explore on your own. Overnight in Athens.

DAY 03 - Athens to Santorini by ferry or flight:
Breakfast, check-out, and transfer to the port for a fast ferry to Santorini (*domestic flights are also available). On arrival, transfer to hotel with the rest of the day and evening free at leisure for you to begin exploring around the island on your own. Overnight in Santorini.

DAY 04 - Santorini at leisure:
A full day for you to relax on one of the many beaches, sightsee around the town and numerous villages, visit a winery or hike the scenic route from Fira to Oia. Optional tours & excursions are available on request. Overnight in Santorini.

DAY 05 - Flight Santorini to Istanbul:
Transfer to Santorini Airport for a flight to Istanbul (via Athens). Arrive and transfer to hotel with the remainder of the late afternoon and/or evening at leisure. Overnight in Istanbul

DAY 06 - Sultanahmet Sightseeing Tour:
After breakfast, meet at the hotel to join on a full-day walking tour visiting the Blue Mosque, St Sophia, Hippodrome and Obelisk, Grand Bazaar and Topkapi Palace (excluding optional extra entrance to Harem room). Evening free at leisure and overnight in Istanbul.

DAY 07 - Bosphorus Cruise then Flight to Cappadocia:
In the morning, join on a half-day tour taking you for a cruise on the Bosphorus during which you have views from the vessel of various historical sights that line its shores. The tour also includes a visit to the famous Spice Bazaar. Late afternoon, transfer to the airport for a domestic flight to Cappadocia, arrive and transfer to hotel. Overnight Cappadocia.

DAY 08 - Cappadocia Tour with Goreme
*Optional extra: very early morning 1-hour hot air balloon ride over the Cappadocian valley
Join on a full-day tour during which you explore Devrent Valley and Monk's Valley (Pasabagi) with fairy chimneys; break for lunch in Avanos, a village famous for its pottery; then visit Goreme Open-Air Museum exploring churches and monasteries with their frescoes. Also, view Uchisar Natural rock castle. Overnight in Cappadocia.

DAY 09 - Cappadocia Red Valley & Underground City:
After breakfast, join on another full-day tour, this time starting with a 4km hike (approx 2hrs) in Red Valley exploring rock-cut churches and fairy chimneys as you make your way to Cavusin (an old Greek village). After lunch, visit Kaymakli Underground City with its intricate and winding levels carved into the soft volcanic rock. The tour also includes a stop at Pigeon Valley for panoramic views. Evening free at leisure and overnight Cappadocia.

**If would prefer to return to Istanbul this evening, after the full-day tour, that is possible - the choice is yours.
**If you wish to extend this itinerary to include other areas of Turkey and/or travel on to Egypt, Jordan or Israel then let us know when making your request.
DAY 10 - Departure
Transfer to Kayseri or Nevsehir Airport for the most suitable domestic flight from Cappadocia back to Istanbul. Arrive Istanbul Airport and proceed to check-in with your outbound international flight.
