Overview

Experience the amazing history and architecture of the Ottoman era in Istanbul & Bursa. Guided sightseeing tours cover the historical Sultanahmet & Bosphorous areas then by car & ferry to Bursa to explore the city centre and cable car ride for magnificent views from Uludag.

Tour itinerary

DAY 01 - Arrival:
Meet on flight arrival to Istanbul Ataturk Airport and transfer to hotel (can also arrange airport transfer from Istanbul SAW). Rest of the day / evening is then free at leisure for you to relax or begin exploring the local surroundings. Overnight in Istanbul.

DAY 02 - Historical Sights of Sultanahmet:
Breakfast at hotel then meet to join on regular group tour (private guided available on request) to explore some of the most important sights in the historical Sultanahmet area. Visit the Blue Mosque, St Sophia, Hippodrome and Obelisk, Grand Bazaar and Topkapi Palace (excluding optional extra entrance to Harem room). Evening free at leisure. Overnight in Istanbul.

DAY 03 - Bosphorous Cruise Sightseeing:
Again meet to depart on full day regular group tour (private guided available on request), this time starting with a morning cruise on the Bosphorous during which you have views from the vessel of various historical sights that line its shores. After cruise visits to the Spice Bazaar, Dolmabahce Palace, Bosphorous Bridge and Camlica Hill for panoramic views. Evening free at leisure. Overnight in Istanbul.

DAY 04 - Bursa Tour roundtrip from Istanbul:
Early morning depart from hotel to port for crossing by car ferry (around 2hours) to Yalova, continue on drive towards Bursa with lovely countryside views enroute. On arrival lunch at local restaurant sampling famous Iskender Kepab (vegetarian options available). Then enjoy a cable car ride up Uludag (weather permitting) after which visit the Ulucami (Grand Mosque), the Green Mosque, old Silk Market in the covered bazaar and the Inkaya Plane Tree. Return to Istanbul via same route. Overnight in Istanbul

DAY 05 - Departure:
Breakfast, check-out and as per your international/domestic flight departure time transfer to Istanbul Ataturk Airport (or Istanbul SAW Airport).
