Overview
10-day holiday package with guided tours of Istanbul's main attractions (historical Sultanahmet & Bosphorous) then on to Greece for some fun and relaxing on the islands of Mykonos & Santorini, ending with a city tour of Athens. This itinerary can also be done in reverse order, starting from Athens ending in Istanbul.
• This is a flexible tour & travel package for individuals, not an escorted group coach tour. You select your own travel dates and we then customize the itinerary accordingly. We can also make changes to the itinerary should you wish to add other areas / exclude some areas / etc. What we do is arrange all hotel accommodation & transport (from starting point Istanbul to ending point Athens) and combine this with the noted sightseeing day tours.
• Package Rate varies depending on the number of persons travelling / exact dates of travel / category of hotels used / any changes you might wish to make to the itinerary etc. Package rate starts from 2100 Euro per person - based on 2 persons using 3* hotels. Excludes international flights to Istanbul for start & from Athens at the end. Low season - Nov to April / Medium season - May, June, October / High & Peak Season - July to September.
Tour itinerary
DAY 01 : Arrival
Meet in the arrivals hall of Istanbul Ataturk (or SAW) Airport and transfer to hotel. You then have remainder of the day, depending on your flight arrival time, at leisure for you relax or stroll around on your own. Overnight in Istanbul.

DAY 02 : Ottoman Relics of Sultanahmet
Enjoy a full-day tour discovering Ottoman heritage sights of the historical Sultanahmet area. Visit the Blue Mosque, St Sophia, Hippodrome and Obelisk, Grand Bazaar and Topkapi Palace (excluding optional extra entrance to Harem room). Evening free at leisure to dine out and stroll through atmospheric streets around the hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.

DAY 03 : Cruise along the Bosphorous
A second day's sightseeing takes you for a cruise along the Bosphorous along with visits to the famous Spice Bazaar, majestic Dolmabahce Palace, across the Bosphorous Bridge and views from Camlica Hill. Overnight in Istanbul.

DAY 04 : Flight from Istanbul to Mykonos
Breakfast, check-out, and transfer to Istanbul Airport for flight to Mykonos. Arrive and transfer to hotel with remainder of the day and evening free at leisure. Overnight in Mykonos

DAY 05 : Cosmopolitan Mykonos
A free day at leisure for you to sun yourself on the beach and wander through the cobbled streets of Mykonos Town. Another alternative would be to join on a half-day boat excursion to the nearby archaeological island of Delos. Overnight in Mykonos

DAY 06 : Ferry from Mykonos to Santorini
Transfer to the port for morning or afternoon fast ferry to Santorini. Arrive and transfer to hotel with remainder of the day/evening free at leisure. Overnight in Santorini. *Please note that the ferry between Mykonos & Santorini does not operate during the winter season - if travel will be during winter months, we would need to use a flight via Athens to connect these 2 islands or possibly exclude Mykonos and do Santorini only.

DAY 07 : Sun, sights & views of Santorini
Breakfast at the hotel with the day free at leisure to enjoy views of the famous caldera, explore various villages, visit museums and maybe a winery, one of the beaches with different colored sands. Various Santorini excursions are available upon request. Overnight in Santorini

DAY 08 : By ferry or flight from Santorini to Athens
As per chosen timing, transfer to the port for a fast ferry (summer season) or standard ferry (winter season) to Athens. Flights are also available on request. Arrive Athens and transfer to hotel with evening at leisure. Overnight in Athens

DAY 09 : Explore Athens
Breakfast at hotel then join on one of the following regular group excursions (you choose):
a) 5hr Coach tour: visit Acropolis, New Acropolis Museum & panoramic drive in city centre
b) 5hr Walking tour: visit Acropolis, Ancient Agora & stroll through the city centre
c) 5hr Walking tour: visit Acropolis, New Acropolis Museum & stroll through city centre
*Please note your preference when making your request, otherwise the coach tour option will automatically be used.
Afternoon and evening free at leisure for you to further explore on your own. Overnight in Athens.

DAY 10 - Departure:
As per your international flight departure time, transfer from the hotel to Athens Airport.
