Short tour of Morocco for those that wish to experience Marrakech and the desert outpost of Zagora. This route offers amazing scenery along the way, a chance to experience berber villages, kasbahs & have an adventure in the dunes of Erg Chegaga.
Tour itinerary
Day 01 : Marrakech / Arrival
Meet and greet on arrival to Marrakech Menara Airport and transfer on to the hotel. Free time at leisure (per your flight arrival time) before dinner at the hotel and your first nights sleep in this great city.

Day 02 : Marrakech - Ouarzazate - Zagora (380km)
Depart to Zagora crossing the High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi N’Tichka pass (2260m alt), you will also come across many Berber villages of rare beauty. Stop to visit the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou considered the most beautiful and well preserved Kasbah in the south of Morocco, it is a Unesco World Heritage. Lunch (optional) in a local restaurant overlooking the valley. Continue to Zagora via the little village of Agdz and on your way enjoy unique sightseeing of the most attractive road in the south of Morocco. Discover a greenish area of palm groves lining the path to announce the start of a Saharian Oasis where a patchwork of vegetation displays itself through a terraced culture of cereals, vegetables, fruit trees, dates, henna, watered by the Draa river. Arrive Zagora, commonly called the "gate of the desert", and in the 14th century, the Saadians, descendants of the prophet and originating from Arabia, set out from here to conquer the Sahara. They managed to extend their authority till Tombouktou.

Day 03 : Zagora / M’hamid Ghizlane / Zagora (180km)
Full free day at Zagora with an excursion to M’hamid Ghizlane. In this village you can enjoy the Erg Chegaga dunes and the Hamadda of Draa, meet nomads, and if you are lucky enough the chance to see a passing camel caravan on your scenic off road “light trekking” in the dunes, amazing experience not to be missed.

Day 04 : Zagora - Marrakech (380km)
Breakfast, check-out and return to Marrakech. On arrival orientation tour of Marrakech with a local guide.
