Tour Itinerary

DAY 01 - Arrival:
Arrival to Marrakech Airport and meet for transfer to hotel. Rest of day/evening at leisure. Overnight Marrakech.

DAY 02 - Marrakech:
The entire day will be devoted to visit Marrakech (by minivan). Marrakech, the second oldest imperial city, called “The Pearl of the South”. Historical sightseeing includes the Menara Garden, the Saadien Tombs, the Bahia Palace, the Koutoubia and the Dar Si Said Museum. Lunch at hotel. Afternoon visit of the souks and handicraft quarters, displaying a variety of items and the famous place Djemaa El Fna with its non stop entertainment. Optional: Moroccan dinner in a traditional restaurant.


DAY 03 - Marrakech / Ouzoud / Afourar:
Departure under the assistance of tour guide towards The Cascades d'Ouzoud the most famous waterfalls in Morocco, the area is quite impressive with a total 100 meters fall. Lunch (optional) on the spot. Afternoon depart to reach the famous lake of Bin El Ouidane, drive through magnificent mountain roads surrounded by holm oaks going along the oueds (rivers) around, then you will continue to Afourar for overnight stay.


DAY 04 - Afourar / Kelaa / Tinghir:
Breakfast then cross the Middle Atlas to reach a splendid small town of Kelaa Me Gouna, an oasis in the Dades valley well known for its yearly festival of Roses in May from where the alternative name of the area comes from “the Valley of the Roses”. Lunch (optional). Then we continue by the new tarred road to Tinghir, famous for its magnificent Todra canyons which rocks reach an altitude of 250 meters.


DAY 05 - Tinghir / Erfoud:

Breakfast then departure to Erfoud via Errachidia, the administrative capital for the region, located between the Middle Atlas mountains to the north and the Sahara desert to the south. Lunch (optional) at Erfoud. Afternoon visit of Rissani, the birthplace of the actual Alaouite Dynasty. Optional excursion by Jeep to Merzouga sandy dunes to admire the fabulous sunset. Return to Erfoud for overnight stay.


DAY 06 - Erfoud / Zagora:
Departure to Zagora via Alnif and Tazzarine, crossing the Djebel Sargho. Optional lunch at N’Kob. Arrival at Zagora. Optional excursion to Tamegroute to visit of the famous library containing old books and documents dating back to the 12th century.


DAY 07 - Zagora / Marrakech:
After breakfast, departure to Marrakech via Ouarzazate, the "gateway of the desert" with its strategic position at the crossroads of Marrakech and Agadir. Orientation tour and stop at Kabshah Taourirt for visit and continuation to Ksar Ait Benhaddou situated on the south foot of the Atlas mountain chain. Founded in the XI century, the Ksar Ait Benhaddou is on the UNESCO list of World Culturage Heritage. Optional lunch on the spot. Departure to Marrakech. Optional: typical dinner under caidal tents at the famous "Chez Ali" restaurant, enhanced by the performance of several folkloric troops representing different regions.


DAY 08 - Departure:
Breakfast, check-out and as per your international/domestic flight departure time transfer to Marrakech Airport.
