Overview
We invite you to discover the Atlas paths and reach the highest peak in North Africa, the Toubkal. At more than 4000m altitude, the discovery is enhanced by Berbers, numerous villages of rare beauty and riche valleys. Includes an excursion on Camels’ back from Tafdna to Essaouira which will offer you one of the most beautiful paths and a special trekking experience from the highest summit of Morocco to its coastal beaches.
Tour itinerary
Day 01 : Marrakech
Meet on arrival to Marrakech Airport, welcome and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Marrakech

Day 02 : Ourika - Oukaimden
Depart by minivan to Ourika Valley, a little picturesque Berber village and then continue to Oukaimden station (2600m) by crossing the Tizi N’Oudi pass. Pedestrian discovery of some cravings.

Day 03 : Oukaimden - Imesker (6hrs walking)
Walk along the valley to reach Imesker (1381m). On the way discover villages with their terraced fields of more than 25 levels.

Day 04 : Imesker - N’Tacht - Tizi Ouessem
To reach the valley of Azaden we will cross the Tizi N’Tacht (2467m). All the way passing by beautiful landscapes of the plateau of Tazarat.

Day 05 : Tizi Ouessem - Armed (4hrs walking)
Via the Tizi M’Zik pass (2400m) arrive to Armed Village (1904m). Check-in at a local lodging then the whole afternoon devoted to individual discovery of the village and its surroundings. Accommodation in the private local house.

Day 06 : Armed - Neltner (5hrs walking)
You will have to walk for 5 hours to reach the refuge of Nelter (3106m) which is located at the foot of Toubkal. Night under tent.

Day 07 : Ascension Toubkal - Armed
Climbing the mountain of Toubkal does not present any difficulty, on the contrary it will give climbers the possibility to climb 4000m and enjoy a splendid view over the High Atlas Range. It will take 3hrs to climb and 2hrs to go down the mountain. Local lodging

Day 08 : Tafdna
Transfer to Tafdna and meet with a team of camel drivers who will be with you for the coming days.

Day 09 : Tafdna - Sidi Ahmed Saih
Arrive at the end of the Atlas by reaching the Atlantic Ocean in a forest of Argan trees.

Day 10 & 11 : Sidi Ahmed Saih - Sidi M’Barek - Sidi Kaouki
Hike through dunes and meeting from time to time with isolated fishermen and many species of birds. Experience a shower under a natural hot waterfall and spend the night under tents.

Day 12 : Sidi Kaouki - Tabia (5hrs walking)
Walking along the large deserted beaches of the Atlantic

Day 13 : Tabia - Essaouira
Meet with your minivan for transfer to Essaouira and a free day for relaxation

Day 14 : Essaouira - Marrakech
Morning transfer back to Marrakech. Afternoon free for personal discovery of the city.
