Tour itinerary
Day 01 - Sunday : Arrival to Tel Aviv
Transfer from Tel Aviv Airport to hotel. Remainder of day/evening free at leisure. Overnight in Tel Aviv
Day 02 - Monday : Jaffa - Caesarea - Haifa - Nazareth - Cana - Galilee
Breakfast, check-out and depart on drive through Jaffa, an ancient port city and the oldest part of Tel Aviv. Continue along the Mediterranean Coast to the ancient city of Caesarea, that was built by King Herod the Great. Then proceed to Haifa, passing by Mt Carmel to see the famous Bahai Gardens. Depart to Cana, where the miracle of Jesus turning water into wine took place and visit the “Wedding Church”. End of day with arrival to hotel. Overnight in Tiberias/Galilee
Day 03 - Tuesday : Mt Beatitudes - Capernaum - Tabgha - Golan Heights
Start the day with a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. Then see the “Jesus Boat”, an ancient boat found sunk in the Sea of Galilee. Ascend up to Mt Beatitudes, where Jesus gave the “Sermon on the Mount”. Continue to Capernaum, known as the “Town of Jesus” and visit the synagogue & Peter’s house. Time for lunch break after which head to Tabgha, the place where the miracle of the multiplication of the loaves and fishes took place. Here you also have the opportunity to see the famous mosaic under the alter of the ancient church. Proceed to the Golan Heights and view from above. Overnight in Tiberias/Galilee
Day 04 - Wednesday : Yardenit - Qumran - Masada & Dead Sea
Begin the morning with drive along the Jordan River to Yerdenit Baptismal Site. Visit Qumran and see the caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls where found. Then head on to Masada, going up to the fortress by cable car. The history of this famous Jewish fortification will unfold before you: the palaces built by Herod, the synagogue & bathhouses used by the Jews there. Descent and depart to the Dead Sea for relaxation & opportunity to swim in the salty waters and optional extra spa facilities. Overnight at Dead Sea
Day 05 - Thursday : Bethlehem
Depart to the Mt. of Olives, a cemetery that once was covered in olive groves,with panoramic view of Jerusalem. Head to Bethlehem to see the Church of Nativity located at Manger Square and overview of the Judean Desert & Shepherd’s Field. Check-in to hotel in Jerusalem for overnight stay.
Day 06 - Friday : New Jerusalem & Marketplace
he morning begins with a visit to Israel's official memorial to the Holocaust, Yad VaShem, located on Mt Herzl. Drive past The Knesset and the Israeli Supreme Course, on your way to the Israel Museum where you see the Dead Sea Scrolls as well as a model of the Second Temple. Continue the day with a tour of the Mahane Yehuda Marketplace and experience life as an Israeli. Overnight in Jerusalem
Day 07 - Saturday : Old Jerusalem, back to Tel Aviv
Today begin with tour of the Garden of Gethsemane, the place where Jesus prayed and his disciples slept the night before his crucifixion. Continue to Mt Zion where visit David’s Tomb and the site of the Last Supper, also known as the “Upper Room”. Continue to the Christian Quarter where enter the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, where Jesus was crucified. From here, walk where Jesus walked as make our way down Via Dolorosa (Stations of the Cross). Continue with The Cardo, what used to be a main street in the Old City during the time when Judea was under Roman rule. Go down to the Western Wall and spend some time in reflection. Then depart on the drive to Tel Aviv for last overnight stay.
Day 08 - Sunday : Departure / End of tour
Check-out and transfer to Tel Aviv Ben Gurion Airport, as per your international flight departure time
