From the Pyramids of Giza to the birthplace of Jesus, this 08-day travel package takes you through 03 countries in a short amount of time. Visit the Pyramids & Downtown of Cairo, the world renowned Petra Archaeological Site in Jordan, ending in Israel with visits of Jerusalem & Bethlehem.
• This is a flexible travel package for individuals. You choose your own travel dates & we can also customize the itinerary to suit your particular interests & duration. Can also be combined with other areas in each country and/or any of the other countries we offer.
• Package Rate starts from 2250 US$ per person - rate varies greatly depending on number of persons travelling / your exact travel dates / category of hotel requested / any changes you wish to make to the itinerary etc. Excludes international flight to Cairo for start & international flight from Tel Aviv at the end, those two flights are for you to arrange yourselves.
Tour itinerary
DAY 01 - Arrive Cairo:
Our representative will be waiting for you at Cairo Airport (according to your international flight arrival time) and transfer you to the hotel. Check-in with remainder of the day-evening free at leisure to get settled in. Overnight in Cairo
DAY 02 - Giza Pyramids, Memphis & Sakkara Tour
With your private Cairo guide, begin full day tour during which you visit the Step Pyramid of King Zoser at Sakkara, the oldest known of Egypt's 107 Pyramids. Then Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt dating from 3100BC. Continue to the Giza Plateau and visit the world famous Giza Pyramids and Sphinx. Drop off back to hotel after tour with evening free at leisure. Overnight in Cairo.
DAY 03 - Cairo Downtown Tour
Today your private Cairo guide takes you to visit the Egyptian Museum along with the Citadel of Saladin with its Alabaster Mosque and Tomb of Ottoman ruler Mohamed Ali. The day tour also includes the Old Cairo area with its mix of Islamic and Christian Monuments after which you have some time to wander through the Khan El-Khalily Bazaar before drop off back to the hotel. Evening free at leisure with last overnight in Cairo.
DAY 04 - Flight to Amman & Transfer to Petra
Transfer to Cairo Airport for flight to Amman. Your private driver will be waiting for you at Amman Airport and take you directly on to hotel in Petra. Remainder of the afternoon/evening free at leisure. Overnight Petra.
DAY 05 - Petra Archaeological Site
Meet with private Petra guide and begin exploring this amazing archaeological site. A short horse ride (approx 700m - not compulsory) takes you from the main gate to the famous narrow (Siq), from here continue on foot as your eye catches its first glimpse of the amazing Treasury. Continue on exploring the Street of Facades, the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh's Castle. Your Petra guide says farewell after the first 4 hours of the visit and you then have free time to continue exploring the site on your own. Evening at leisure with overnight in Petra (or if you wish we can arrange for you to stay overnight at a hotel at the Dead Sea instead).
DAY 06 - Jordan to Israel Land Border Crossing
Breakfast, check-out and transfer to the land border between Jordan & Israel. Cross over and meet on the other side for transfer directly on to the hotel in Jerusalem. Check-in with remainder of the afternoon and evening free at leisure. Overnight in Jerusalem.
DAY 07 - Old Jerusalem & Bethlehem Tour
Pickup from hotel to join on full day regular group tour of Old Jerusalem & Bethlehem. First head to Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of the city. Then Mount Zion to visit King David's Tomb, Room of Last Supper and Dormition Abbey. Enter the Old City and walk through the Armenian and Jewish quarters to the recently excavated and restored Cardo, the Roman road. See the Jewish Wailing Wall, the Kotel and continue to the Christian quarter. Walk along the Via Dolorosa and visit the Church of Holy Sepulchre. Last by not least, head to Bethlehem where Jesus was born, Here walk through Manger Square to visit the Church of Nativity and view the Shepherds' Field. End of day tour with arrival back to hotel, evening free at leisure. Overnight in Jerusalem. *We can arrange as many nights in Israel as you might wish, so if you wish to do more sightseeing just let us know.
DAY 08 - Departure from Tel Aviv
As per your international flight departure time, transfer from hotel in Jerusalem to Tel Aviv Airport.
