Overview
A perfect option for those in search of culture and leisure. Start in Cairo with a visit of the Great Pyramids, head south by train to board a Nile Cruise hopping from temple to temple between Aswan and Luxor, then end your trip with a few leisure days in the resort town of Sharm on the Red Sea.
Tour itinerary
DAY 01 - Arrival:
Arrival to Cairo Airport and meet for transfer on to the hotel. Rest of the day is then at leisure (as per your flight arrival time). Overnight in Cairo.

DAY 02 - Giza Sightseeing - train to Aswan:
Meet in hotel lobby with the tour guide to begin the sightseeing excursion with a visit to Memphis, ancient capital of Egypt dating from 3100 BC which contains the beautiful representation of King Ramsis II through his colossal statue. Then proceed to Sakkara to see the world-famous Step Pyramid of King Zoser, the oldest known of Egypt's 107 Pyramids. At the Pyramids area, visit the Three Pyramids built for Pharaohs Cheops, Chephren & Mycerinus on the Giza Plateau and the mysterious Sphinx. End of tour with transfer to rail station for departure on overnight sleeper train to Aswan, dinner onboard train.

DAY 03 - Nile Cruise (Aswan Sightseeing):
Breakfast on train, arrival to Aswan and meet for transfer to board Nile Cruise. Then depart with the cruise tour guide to visit the High Dam, Unfinished Obelisk & Philae Temple. **Optional extra tours such as "Abu Simbel" and/or "felucca ride" can be added, please note your prefernces in the enquiry form.

DAY 04 - Nile Cruise (Kom Ombo & Edfu):
Sails to Kom Ombo & visit The Temple of Sobek & Haroeris, dedicated to the crocodile-god Sobek. Continue on to Edfu and here visit the Temple of Horus, the largest and most complete preserved Temple combining Pharaonic and Greek architectures.

DAY 05 - Nile Cruise (Luxor):
Cross the lock and arrive to Luxor. Today visit monuments on the West Bank; the Valley of Kings & Queens, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. Then on the East Bank visit the majestic Luxor & Karnak Temples.

DAY 06 - Luxor to Sharm:
Breakfast, check-out and as per flight schedule transfer to airport for domestic flight on to Sharm El-Sheikh. Check-in with remainder of the day free at leisure to spend some time on the beach or exploring around this resort town. Overnight in Sharm.

DAY 07 - Sharm El-Sheik at leisure:
Full day at leisure to relax, explore, do some diving/snorkelling for which the Red Sea is famous. Overnight in Sharm.

DAY 08 - Sharm to Cairo:
Day time is again at leisure for various activities then early evening transfer to airport for flight to Cairo. Overnight in Cairo

DAY 09 - Egyptian Museum, Citadel, Old Cairo:
After breakfast meet with your private tour guide and enjoy a full day tour visiting the Egyptian Museum, Citadel of Saladin (with its Alabaster Mosque and Tomb of Ottoman ruler Mohamed Ali), Old Cairo area (with mix of Islamic and Christian Monuments) and Khan El-Khalily Bazaar. Overnight in Cairo.

DAY 10 - Departure:
Breakfast, check-out and as per your international flight departure time meet for transfer to Cairo Airport.
