Tour itinerary

DAY 01 - Athens to Delphi
Delivery of rental car on your arrival to Athens Airport then depart to Delphi (190km – 3.5hrs driving) for overnight stay.
meals: none (dinner optional extra)

DAY 02 - Delphi to Kalambaka
In the morning visit Delphi (archaeological site and museum). Then depart via Amfissa, Lamia & Karditsa to Kalambaka (202km – 4hrs driving). Overnight in Kalambaka.

DAY 03 - Meteora Monasteries to Metsovon
Morning visit the monasteries of Meteora. In the afternoon depart to Metsovon, among Greece's most picturesque small towns. (58km – 2hrs driving). Overnight in Metsovon.

DAY 04 - West & East Zagoria Villages
Depart to the famous villages of Zagoria, Tsepelovo or Aristi (125km – 2.5hrs driving). Visit the West Zagoria villages, Mikro and Megalo Papingo and the Eastern Zagoria villages, Tristeno and Grevenitsa. Overnight in Tsepelovo or Aristi.

DAY 05 - Central Zagoria Villages / Vikos Gorge
Visit the Central Zagoria villages, Vitsa and Monodendri, the starting point for hikers wishing to walk the Vikos Gorge as far as the Voidomatis springs. Overnight Tsepelovo or Aristi.

DAY 06 - Ioannina
Depart to Ioannina. Its lovely scenery and historic monuments make sightseeing fascinating. Visit the castle, the old city, the archeological museum, the lake with its islet. Overnight Ioannina.

DAY 07 - Return to Athens
Depart to Athens (450km - 6hrs driving), via Arta, Amfilochia, Antirion – Rion, Corinth (Canal of Corinth). Overnight in Athens.

DAY 08 - Departure
Drop off rental car at Athens Airport, or if you will be heading to the islands drop off at Piraeus Port.

The hotels were all great. The St. John's in Mykonos was truly 5 star and absolutely beautiful. The rooms were really nice and the entire property was perfect. The Villa Reno was such a fun place to stay. The views were incredible as was the location. The people that own the hotel were great and we had so much fun talking to the son who mainly runs the hotel. The Marmara Hotel in Istanbul was very nice and a great location but the rooms are small. The Intercontinental was really nice with very large rooms, a great pool and an excellent restaurant. Well anyway, thank you so much again and I will definitely contact you when we plan our next trip to Greece and will recommend your services to anyone planning a trip to Greece or Turkey.
