the capital of the Macedonian State. Continue to Edessa (56km),

04 - Kastoria: |

Drive
to Kastoria via Amindeo (114km) or via Florina and the famous
lakes of Prespa (140km).

the morning visit the Byzantine churches in Kastoria. Late afternoon
depart via Siatista to

the monasteries at Meteora and then drive via Larissa to Leptokaria

Depart
to Dion (13km), a sacred location of the ancient Macedonians
at the foot of Mt. Olympos. Then on to Vergina (90km) where
diggings have unearthed 3 very important tombs. Then depart
on the return drive to Thessaloniki (68km). Overnight in Thessaloniki. |
